This spell is the backbone of the offensive arsenals of most magi. Components are easy to come by, meaning you don't have to stop hunting to get them. It can be very powerful, but be warned that a Pragi targets everything in the room, including PKs and hiding NPCs. This spell is therefore a no-no in Djelibeybi (cats die easily) and some NPCs, including every NPC in Bes Pelargic, will run from it. It is very well known, and very powerful. Pragi will not target lightsources (moths and small blue lights) or most pets, but will target pet dragons.
[edit] Backfires
This spell can backfire, but most times it simply does no damage. On rare occasion, for example when you are forced to stop the spell in the middle, either by damage taken or by the "stop" command, it will backfire painfully, sometimes doing over 200 hitpoints of damage. While unlikely to be deadly, this can still cause problems.
