This spell requires the focus of an Octogram.
Al'Hrahaz's Scintillating Blorper creates a blorp from any piece of metal jewellery, storing the caster's location in it. The blorp can then be used in the spell Jogloran’s Portal of Cheaper Travel to travel to that location. Some locations cannot be blorpled.
[edit] This Spell Can Kill You
It is best to spellcheck for "very likely to succeed" or better in every stage before casting this spell. A strong TPA also goes a long way to protect against backfires. Backfires can do thousands of hitpoints of damage, and it should be noted that lower jewellery quality does *not* equal lower damage. Get at least 2000 hitpoints and a decent TPA before attempting this spell.
[edit] Jewellery
This spell damages jewellery over time. Because of the nature of the magic, your jewellery could easily be in "excellent condition" after 10 casts, and on the 11th cast drop to "poor condition" or worse. The gold ring is considered the minimum quality jewellery for this spell. Anything "cheaper" may be destroyed in the process of casting. However, if you spend a bit more, more valuable rings (Rose Rhodonite being the strongest) will handle the damage better. They will be damaged less often, and they will suffer less damage.
